Planning a Road Trip through New Mexico?
Here we have made a list of all the fun things to do in New Mexico!

We also have YouTube Videos of our Travels through New Mexico.
Here's one of them
We had planned on passing right through New Mexico and only making stops for refueling and sleeping. After passing through New Mexico a few times, I have realized that New Mexico is pretty awesome and has a lot to offer.
In no particular order, here is a list of things we did in New Mexico.
Bandelier National Monument: Dwellings carved into the rock cliffs from the Ancestral Puebloans. Ladders along the way allow visitors to climb up into these old dwellings.
White Sands National Monument: The world's largest gypsum sand dunes. Rent a sled from the visitor center and head to the dunes for some sledding.
Bisti / De-na-zin Wilderness: Like it sounds, it's a bizarre landscape of badlands which offers some of the most unusual scenery found in the Four Corners Region.
The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History: A fun hands on museum the whole family will enjoy.
Very Large Array: A radio astronomy observatory of massive telescopes located in central New Mexico on the Plains of San Agustin.
Hot Springs: There are a handful of hot springs all over New Mexico. With a quick google search you'll be able to find them.
Meow Wolf: A magical life-size-play-house, enter into new worlds through the bedroom closet. A place the whole family can enjoy.
Elephant Butte Lake State Park: Here you can pull up and camp right on the beach. It's also a place you can enjoy the day swimming and hanging out at the lake.
Four Corners: This marks the spot of the four states, Utah - Colorado - Arizona - New Mexico
