How to RV cheap and find Free Camping?

We rarely stay at an RV park, especially when we are out west. However, out east we are generally doing a lot of parking lot camping, or finding ourselves in an RV park. There just is not much BLM land out east. (BLM land is Free land to camp on). If we are going to be in an RV park we tend to go for a state or national park because they're going to be cheaper and we can also explore the park while we are there. There has been many times where we are going from parking lot to parking lot. There are a lot of stores that you can get away with staying the night in the parking lots for free. You can bounce from Rest Stops, to Truck Stops, Walmart, Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, Cracker Barrel, and fitness gyms that are open 24/7. Sometimes these stores are located at a mall area, and mall parking lots do not allow over night parking. We have been told to leave a mall parking lot while parked near the 24/7 gym, however it was not until 6:00 am did they tell us that we are not allowed to over night park there. Which is fine because we were just getting up and ready to leave anyway.
